Thank You

May 25, 2008

The members of Route 30 Cruisers would like to take a moment to thank those who are currently serving, as well as those who have in the past served our country.

On this day, dedicated Memorial Day, we remember those we’ve lost. Don’t forget to thank those who have served and those serving when ever you run into them. Your freedom depends upon them, and their willing to give their all for YOU.

We humbly thank you.

  1. Dave,
I saw several displays in Mosul, 2004 and attended three Army memorials. They celebrated the Soldier’s life well and fitting.

    • Thanks for the comment Chief RZ. I searched through quite a few photos looking for one that would drive home the reason we celebrate Memorial day, there are many photos out there, too many. After about an hour of searching this one seemed to make the point.

Considering that we have an all volunteer military it really inflames my hemorrhoids to see groups like code pink disparage our troops in a time of crisis. Very few, if any, in the military want to go to war, but they volunteered to do so in the event that they are needed, knowing that some would not come back as they left. Thanks for your service Chief.
